All the safe places survivors have stumbled upon so far.
Madole Avenue - Madole Avenue was once one of the richest streets in the entire city. There was always some kind of party going on, and only the wealthiest people were allowed to even step foot there. Due to the largeness and effort put into building each sturdy house, some still remain standing, but beware - the zombies know this too.
Preuett Lane - Preuett Lane was full of neighbors passionate about gardening, and thus, simply overflowed with a variety of crops and plants. This vegetation was the first thing to go, even before humans, when the U.S. dropped the bomb.
Heyward Street* - One of the poorer streets in the town, Heyward Street crumbled within weeks of It, and now all that remains is a bunch of debris and rubble. Good for rooting around for anything that still may be there, such as pieces of wood that can be used as weapons, but not much else.
Wal-Mart - Yes, even in the future Wal-Mart is still around. The front of the building is a bit dilapidated and crumbly, but the back of it has completely vanished. A few goods such as toiletries, clothes, and home/office supplies still remain, and there are a few non-perishable food items, but they are rapidly decreasing. Molds and vines creep along the floors and walls, and it's still very dangerous to enter. Loose structures still collapse and fall every once in a while.
Preston Mall - It's a great place to stock up on clothes as well as household items and tools from department stores. The mall is one of the biggest and wholest structures still left on this side of town, but that doesn't necessarily make it safe. There are plenty of stores and corners for zombies to hibernate before the night hours.
Victory Park - It can hardly be called a park anymore. The slides and swings have all disintegrated, and the only thing remaining is a damaged jungle gym, a lone, wooden picnic table, and faded lines of hopscotch and a basketball court. The fountain is cracked and stained with the dirty water that had once filled it, and the grass and trees have overgrown and will probably never be cut, making its fields a great place to hide in case of a sudden attack.
Stanton's Music Store* - It was the only music shop on this side of town, but now it barely even exists. Not a single page of sheet music has been found, but all of its showcased instruments were put in a vault, and are in usable condition.

*These places are where most zombies hang around during the day, while they wait for the quite night time to prowl on their prey. They aren't, however, restricted to this area and some venture out to other places in the daytime.
