All the safe places survivors have stumbled upon so far.
Sweet Pea's Baked Foods - Sweet Pea's was quite the hit years ago. Everyone loved the tiny, local bakery - especially its gooey strawberry bread! Now Sweet Pea's is in pieces, quite the contrast to its past cheerful environment.
Drywood Apartments* - Drywood Apartments were a middle-class apartment complex until the undead burned it down. Now it's just ash and a place for the zombies to hide during the day.
Crystalake Condos - Crystalake Condos were brand new when the infection began. Most of the city hid here before trying to make their escapes, including more than a few scientists and news anchors. Survivors think a bit of technology may still remain in the overgrown apartments.
State Fair - Always once a year, the State Fair was the highlight of every child's summer. Bustling with people, stocked with cotton candy, and exploding with fireworks, the once popular fair grounds now only hold a rusted ferris wheel, and carousel with missing horses and seats which surprisingly still work, although one would not advise a joy ride on it. Who knows if it will fall apart? The automatic fireworks still go off every night at 9:00pm during the summer months (April - August), and although it's destroyed, the fair grounds still offer much peace ... from a distance. Zombies thrive during the night hours, so no one ever gets too close to watch the fireworks.
Tilla Night Club - It's obviously not in service anymore, but who says survivors don't still enjoy a few hard drinks? The wines left in the underground cellar are still good as ever; just dust off the label, and hope you can still crack that lid open after a few years without use.
Museum of Arts and Science** - It was almost impossible to save any artwork, although a few statues, paintings, and structures still remain in the Art museum located in the basement and first floor of this museum. The upper floors contained a science museum for kids, and a history museum, but not much remains of either.

*These places are where most zombies hang around during the day, while they wait for the quite night time to prowl on their prey. They aren't however restricted to this area and some venture out to other places in the daytime.
**Zombies are usually found in the lower floors of the museum.
